The perfect blend of British style and American drive, James Harris brings his charisma, intellect and wit as co-founder of luxury real estate firm, Bond Street Partners, to Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. Born and raised in London, England, Harris' entrepreneurial drive started at the tender age of 16. After working as a residential investment agent in the United Kingdom, Harris headed west to Los Angeles to broaden his horizon and to enjoy the California sunshine. 

 

Today, Harris is living the American Dream, working in a city he loves with an incredibly talented group of people. He and business partner, David Parnes, specialize in high-end residential real estate and investment properties in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Brentwood, the Hollywood Hills, Malibu, the Pacific Palisades and the greater Los Angeles region. 

 

James and David have sold over $165 million of real estate in 2014 and they are on target to sell over $200 Million for 2015.   Their sales volume is growing at a formidable pace year on year.  Harris has proven that his exceptional service and attention to each and every one of his clients is the recipe to his success.

 

Notable past sales by the partners include a sale on L.A.'s famous Melrose Place, home to boutiques of renowned designers Oscar De La Renta, Chloé and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's store, The Row. Most recently the partners have sold the famed Hustler store on Sunset Blvd., which they sold for $18.5 Million to their client - developer Zach Vella, as well as the $30 million sale of 438 N Faring Road, a deal in which they represented both the buyer and the seller.  Additional celebrity sales include the sale of a promontory view property in Beverly Hills to NBA player Kris Humphries for $6.2 million. They also represented the buyer on a Hollywood Hills home that belonged to NFL star Reggie Bush.

 

James Harris has earned numerous recent accolades including being named one of "Hollywood's Top 25 Real Estate Agents" by The Hollywood Reporter in 2014 and 2015. He was also recently listed in The Wall Street Journal, 2015 Real Trends Top 1000 agents in America.

 

James is happily married to his beautiful wife, Valeria, and together they have two daughters, Sofia and Chloe.  His three girls are the light of his life.  When he is not at work, James and his family love going to the beach and spending quality time together. A firm believer in giving back to the community, Harris is heavily involved in various humanitarian causes including the Jewish Federation Community.

Originally from London, England, David Parnes brings English charm to the City of Angels. Co-founder of a premium real estate service company, Bond Street Partners, Parnes and his partner, James Harris, have established themselves as two of the top agents serving the Los Angeles luxury market. 

 

After earning his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Economics and Politics from the University of Manchester, Parnes began working at a hedge fund before moving on to represent a private portfolio of real estate assets in Europe. While taking breaks from the London fog, Parnes spent his summers in Los Angeles and was drawn to the sunshine, warm and friendly people and vast potential of the city's real estate market. As a result, he made the decision to permanently call L.A. home in 2009.
